It's strongly recommended that at least one adult is present for all sessions — consistency between sessions is where the real progress happens. That said, anyone in the family is welcome to join, and I actively try to involve everyone as much as possible. Just bear in mind the sessions are structured for adults, so younger kids are welcome but may find them a little slow-paced after a while.

Most families notice a real difference within the first 2–3 sessions. That said, every dog is different — a young puppy picking up basic manners will progress differently to a dog working through reactivity or anxiety. I'll always give you a realistic picture of what to expect at the start, and your training plan is reviewed and adjusted as we go.

Yes. Behaviour issues like reactivity, aggression, and anxiety are exactly what the Behaviour Consult service is designed for. We start with a full assessment to understand what's driving the behaviour, and build a structured plan from there. If at any point I feel your dog needs additional specialist support, I'll always be upfront about that.

Obedience training is for dogs who are generally manageable but need work on manners — things like lead walking, recall, jumping up, and impulse control. Although we do some reactivity work in our Obedience course, it is not the main focus of the course. A behaviour consult is for dogs showing more complex or worrying behaviours like aggression, serious reactivity towards dogs or people, separation anxiety, or fearfulness. Yes — all breeds, all sizes. Whether you have a Labrador, a Rescue, a Cockapoo, or a Chihuahua, the training approach is adapted to suit your individual dog's temperament, age, and history rather than their breed.

No problem at all. Additional follow-up sessions can be added on at any point. For behaviour cases, I offer follow-up bundles of 1, 3, or 5 sessions so you can choose whatever suits your dog's progress and your budget.

Never. Older dogs can absolutely learn new behaviours — in many ways they're easier to work with and learn faster than puppies because they have a longer attention span and better impulse control. Age is never a barrier, and I've worked with dogs of all ages with great results.

We train puppies from as young as 8 weeks old in our 8-week Early Puppy course. From 12 weeks old, we switch puppies to our 7-week puppy training course.

Very young puppies are still developing their senses and require a slightly slower tempo, so we developed our 8-week-long Early Puppy Course. From 12 weeks old, pups change quite a lot and can handle a faster pace in the course, so are better suited to our 7-week Puppy Training Course.

Sessions last approximately an hour

That’s completely normal. The training is designed for real-life puppies — not perfect ones.

For dogs older than 6 months, we have a 6-week Good Dog Obedience course that is better suited to them.

Yes! Because we train your pup in your home, starting training before they have had all of their vaccinations is perfectly safe.

Once you book the course, you will receive an email with the full agenda and equipment list.  Equipment includes items you likely already have, such as a lead, harness, collar, bed, and treats.
